Boris co-founded Calipsa in 2016 with a mission to make the world a safer place. As Calipsa’s CTO, Boris draws upon 10 years’ machine learning and applied mathematics experience, including Masters degrees from both Imperial College London and UCL. Boris is instrumental in driving Calipsa’s machine learning and product development growth, leading a talented, global team of engineers to ensure Calipsa is constantly evolving to support its customers.
Tara joined Calipsa in September 2017, initially as a Business Development/Ops Associate. Shortly thereafter, she became the main sales point of contact at Calipsa and has helped lead our growth in the U.S. As Regional Sales Director for the Americas, Tara will be continuing to spearhead the growth of Calipsa in the commercial monitoring space, and working to expand our footprint in the enterprise space - bringing Calipsa to universities, smart cities, health care providers, and corporate businesses. She is well versed in helping security companies increase their efficiency and video surveillance performance.
Lee Adamos joined Calipsa as the first US-based employee. With over 8 years of experience as a leading product analyst and integrations expert within the security industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge from both a hardware and software perspective. His expertise allows every customer to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our False Alarm Filtering Platform through the overall flexibility Calipsa allows via cloud-based architecture. Having been a Calipsa client prior to joining the team, Lee mentions that: "Every interaction I share with a client creates an opportunity to make a positive impact on their business. Nicole Pitts joined Calipsa in September 2020 with a 13-year track record of working with (SAAS) technology companies. Most recently, she worked for a video-Based A.I. security start-up in Northern California. Outside of work, she is an advisor to womenofAI.org and chair for the friends of the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Nicole brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her role as an Account Manager and is a key part of Calipsa’s strong US team. She is the main point of contact for Calipsa's growing client base in the Americas and supports new and exciting clients to ensure the smooth onboarding and application of Calipsa’s False Alarm Filtering Platform into their control rooms.
