Cougar Monitoring will work with Calipsa on false alarm reduction

Cougar Monitoring has become the latest UK monitoring station to deploy Calipsa’s False Alarm Filtering Platform as a solution to nuisance video alarms.

Calipsa’s False Alarm Filtering Platform represents Cougar’s latest investment into enhancing their monitoring efficiency and service.

Calipsa's cloud-based False Alarm Filtering Platform is a unique video analytics solution that  uses deep learning technology to filter out CCTV alarms. Calipsa recognises the cause of the alarm, filtering out any that are not caused by human or vehicle movement to reduce false alarms by over 85%. Calipsa will also add an extra layer of intelligence to Cougar's existing high quality video monitoring solution.
